Sandy is a well-known anger expert, who specializes in building healthy communications skills. For over twenty years, she developed and facilitated workshops for clients in treatment, and in 1986 was the first person in Edmonton, Alberta Canada to develop and facilitate anger courses to the public. Some of her clients included social service agencies, teachers, mental health groups, government and private sectors, police departments, crisis units, and shelters. From 1990-1997, Sandy taught "Dealing with Anger" courses through University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension and has appeared on numerous radio and television shows as an expert guest including an appearance on The Sally Jesse Raphael Show in New York on the show "I'm Afraid of Your Rage". Sandy also delivers train the trainer seminars for allied professionals and co-workers. Sandy Livingstone is considered an expert in the field of anger management.
